S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Shadow of Chernobyl

I've uploaded gameplay of Shadow of Chernobyl over on my gaming channel today. That can be found by clicking here

Shadow of Chernobyl was released in mid 2007 by GSC Game World.

"S.T.A.L.K.E.R. takes place in an area called "The Zone", which is based on the real-life Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and partly on the settings of the source novel and film. It encompasses roughly 30 square kilometers and features a slice of Chernobyl extending south from Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant; geographical changes for artistic license include moving the city of Pripyat into this area (it is actually to the north-west of the power station), although the city itself is directly modeled on its real-life counterpart, albeit smaller in size." (Wiki)

This is one I would definitely recommend to anyone who is into FPS and the whole survival horror games.  You can purchase this one on your steam account for $20 and it's awesome. There are two others Call of Pripyat and Clear Sky. If I had to choose I'd choose Clear Sky (more roaming and freedom).

But as I said before this game I hadn't seen one that you could roam around and accomplish missions (sounds like Borderlands).

The few elements of realism that they did have in this game where - hunger, bleeding, radiation poisoning, weather, and day time. In this game you had to carry around food so you didn't die of hunger. I believe in the second S.T.A.L.K.E.R (Call of Pripyat) you had to carry water as well. But you also had bandages to stop bleeding, and radiation could be neutralized by wearing artifacts and using medication. Also, you had just about all the weather except for snow which was amazing. And finally, the setting did fluctuate from night to day with an easy transition.

I will be posting sources for mods - this game you can only carry a limited amount of gear *60* and limited ammo so I am going to be modding this to make it more enjoyable.

Games I have on my Ipad

Clumsy Ninja

This game is an interactive game where you level up the ninja by having she/he train with the trampoline, punching bag, throwing balls, and dummies. You can do other things besides train the ninja like throwing him around, tickling, and hitting. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone just looking to pass the time.
The Walking Dead 2

Not based on the TV show it's based on the comic books. Real fast passed adventure game for anyone who is into horror. It has amazing graphics and would recommend it to anyone who saw the show.
MX Meltdown

Pretty self explanatory - buy bikes, upgrade them and race.
Infinity Blade III

This was well worth it's price! I love playing this game when I'm on car rides or on the bus on the way to work. It's story based with plenty of action. I would recommend this to anyone with an extra five bucks to spend. I know it sounds like a lot of money to spend on an app but this game is worth sixty dollars for the amount of gaming time you experience, and the quality is awesome.

These are only a sample of the games I have most of the others are small Facebook like games that are played online. Infinity Blade, Clumsy Ninja, and Walking Dead can be played offline as well. So that said please enjoy. I'd like suggestions of games or apps to play.

WOW - my first impression

http://youtu.be/PnLEGffYtKA

Today I finally had the pleasure of playing WOW or World of Warcraft. I do have to be quite honest and say it wasn't as grand as everyone had made it seem. I was quite disappointed in the quality all together. For those who don't have a high quality or update graphics card they will be disappointed to hear that this game won't accommodate them. I did expect more from the amount of advertising they've done for the game.

WOW is Back On

There is no set schedule currently so I'm not sure when I'll be playing this game - it has about 14 more gigabytes to download and my internet only runs 800 kb/s on a good day.

WOW isn't happening - World of Warcraft Review

The moment I saw that this game (starter version) was 23GB the only thing in my mind was; "It's not worth waiting 3 days for!". I'm sorry to all the people that did like it - I just didn't see what all the fuss was about. I wasn't about to hog all the internet for something that would probably take that amount of time anyway, and I wasn't prepared for the amount of bitching I was going to get from everyone in my household. SORRY! Not sorry?

Blacklight: Retribution Review

This game made me so mad!!! I got through the tutorial and the game glitched and it just shutdown. OMG!! I wouldn't recommend this game.  It looked like an awesome game but I was so mad that I forgot to record as well so not my day.

RaiderZ Information

The Official site for RaiderZ can be found here. It was published by PerfectWorld but can be downloaded from Steam as well. It's not a large game (compared to WOW it's relatively tiny - WOW is 23GB of hard drive space even if it's just free-to-play).

I can't say too much about it since I haven't played it yet - yeah I'll record my first time playing it.
